There's a new scam going around, and it's using area code 859. Here's how to block scam calls with area code 859.First, find out the phone number of the scammer. You can do this by searching online, or by asking friends and family if they've received any suspicious calls.

Once you have the phone number of the scammer, add it to your phone's blocked number list. This will ensure that you never receive any calls from that number again.

If you're receiving calls from other area codes, you can also add those numbers to your blocked number list. This will help keep you safe from unwanted calls.

Be sure to share this information with your friends and family, so they can protect themselves from this scam as well.

In the U.S., phone numbers with area code 859 are not toll-free. So, if you're calling someone in Kentucky and you're in another state, you'll have to pay long-distance rates.But, there are a few exceptions. If you're calling a toll-free number or a number that starts with "800," "855," "866," "877," or "888," you won't have to pay anything extra.

And, if you're calling a number in Kentucky that starts with "270" or "361," you won't have to pay anything, either.

So, if you're not sure whether a phone number is toll-free, just check the area code. If it's 859, you'll have to pay for the call.
