To do this, you can head over to the website of the North American Numbering Plan Administration (NANPA). This website contains all sorts of information about area codes, including the carrier that services them.

Once you have that information, you need to contact your carrier and ask them to add the scammer's area code to your block list. This will help to keep those unwanted calls from coming through.

While this method won't stop all scam calls, it's a good start. And, it's a lot better than just hanging up on them or letting them waste your time.
